How did Mikayla get into travel planning?

Hi, I'm Mikayla, a travel advisor with The Travel Junkie and the planner behind Travel by Mikayla!

Growing up, I visited Disneyland almost every year, and one unforgettable stay at the Disneyland Hotel sparked a lifelong love of travel.

Years later, I planned my family's first Disney World and Universal Orlando vacation. I had no idea how much there was to learn, but seeing those destinations through my daughter's eyes made me fall in love with planning just as much as traveling.

Today, I help families experience that same wonder without the overwhelm of planning it themselves. Whether it's a Disney vacation, a Universal adventure, an ocean cruise, or a European river journey, I love creating thoughtful, personalized experiences.

Nothing makes me happier than hearing from clients who return home with full hearts, incredible memories, and stories they'll tell for years.
